Managing Director - Independent Fisheries
Tim took up the role of Managing Director – Independent Fisheries following Sealord’s successful acquisition in 2024. He is responsible for leading the company, the delivery of strategy and financial performance, and collaborating with the wider Sealord fishing business.
Tim initially joined Sealord in 2015 as Commercial Manager in fishing operations and has built up a significant knowledge of fishing and operations, and has further developed his capabilities as a Sealord appointed Director on various commercial joint ventures in the fishing industry, as well as time as Acting CFO for Sealord in 2023.
In addition to his extensive understanding of the business, Tim brings considerable experience in commercial, finance, operations and leadership. He was previously with Fonterra, and, prior to this held roles with the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, and PwC. Tim has a BCom/LLB from the University of Otago, and has completed the Strategic CFO Programme at the University of Auckland Business School.
