You can choose from several different jobs in our factory, such as:

  • Trimmer
  • Filleter
  • Packer
  • Machine operator
  • Forklift operator
  • Truck driver

We have day, afternoon and night shifts from Monday to Friday, and there are always opportunities for overtime and weekend work. For working parents there is also an option for a school hours shift in our Wet Fish factory. We have permanent full time or part time roles, and seasonal roles.

If you thrive in a team, are active, co-ordinated with your hands, have an eye for detail, and love the Nelson lifestyle, then an onshore factory role is for you. 

CAREER PROGRESSION ONSHORE

There is a career pathway for you with Sealord onshore.  Supported by Sealord, you can develop and learn multiple onshore processing roles.  For permanent employees, if you do well, your pay goes up after three months.

You can also consider roles at sea, or in our Auckland, Nelson or Australian offices.
