Ingredients
1 (95g) can
Sealord Tuna Lemon Pepper, drained
1
small celery stick, finally diced
1/4
mall red onion, finally diced
1 Tbsp
gherkin relish (or finally chopped gherkins)
1 Tbsp
unsweetened Greek yoghurt
1/2 tsp
finely chopped fresh dill (optional)
2
large slices sourdough (or any other bread you like)
2-3 slices (40-60g)
Swiss cheese
1
whole gherkin, to serve (optional)
salt and vinegar kettle chips, to serve (optional)
Directions
Step 1 of 4
Place Sealord Tuna Lemon Pepper, celery, onion, relish, yoghurt, aioli, mustard and dill in a bowl. Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2 of 4
Brush one side of each bread slice with oil. With the oiled sides facing out, assemble the sandwich with 1 (or 1 1/2) slices of cheese, the tuna mixture and then the remaining cheese. Press the sandwich together.
Step 3 of 4
Air fry at 190ºC for 8 minutes, carefully flipping halfway through, until golden brown and melty.
Step 4 of 4
Serve with a whole gherkin and a handful chips, if desired.
Foodie Tip
If you don’t have an air fryer, you can toast the melt in a frying pan on medium-low heat (roughly 4 minutes each side).
