WE LOVE FISH

As a country, we love fish.

But, as with all star crossed lovers, not everyone supports the love affair.  And they’ll happily let us know with signs on the office microwave, passive aggressive notes on our lunch containers, and noses scrunched in disgust whenever we open a tuna tin.

We want Kiwis to be proud to love fish.  To enjoy every deliciously salty, savoury, and gloriously succulent bite without worrying about whose nose they’ve offended.

That’s why we’re asking Kiwis to call out fish haters for the chance to win fishy prizes.

Tell us about the time you’ve had to justify bringing a fish lunch to work, or explaining away the smell of your fish-lunch to your co-workers.  We’d also love to see photos of the stern warnings left by the microwave or share other evidence of fish based prejudice you’ve faced.

  1. The promoter is Sealord Group Limited (“Sealord”).
  2. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. The promotion is open to New Zealand residents, except employees of Sealord, its related companies, agencies associated with this promotion, and their immediate families.
  4. The promotion commences on 20 July 2026 and closes at 5pm on 10 August 2026 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
  5. To enter, participants must enter by completing the We Love Fish competition entry from at www.sealord.com.
  6. Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated.
  7. There are three prizes to be won.
  8. Each prize consists of 1x Icey-Tek Cube Chilly Bin Cooler 25L (RRP $220), 1x Ninja 6.2L Air Fryer Pro XL with Mega Zone (RRP $249), 24x Sealord Smoked Flavour Tuna 95g and 24x Sealord Lemon Pepper Flavoured Tuna 95g (RRP $137.28), 1x $50 Sealord voucher.
  9. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
  10. The winner will be selected on Wednesday 12 August by random draw at Sealord’s office in Auckland.
  11. The winner will be notified using the contact details supplied with their entry. If the winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days, Sealord reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  12. Sealord reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  13. Sealord reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where reasonably necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
  14. To the extent permitted by law, Sealord will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the promotion or the prize.
  15. Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be used for the administration of the promotion and otherwise handled in accordance with Sealord’s Privacy Policy.
