Baked Hoki with a Macadamia Crust

A simple crusted fish dish using parmesan and herbs. Baked in the oven. Serve with veges, chips or a salad on the side.

    Fresh Hoki Fillets

  • Macadamia Crust
  • 1/2 cup

    macadamia nuts

  • 1

    garlic clove

  • 1 tsp


  • sea salt, to season

  • mashed potato & lemon wedges to serve


  1. Preheat oven 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Put all the crust ingredients into a small food processor and blend to form a thick paste.
  3. Place the Hoki fillets onto the baking tray and press the macadamia paste over the top of the fillets. Season with a little sea-salt and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Serve with mashed potato and lemon wedges.
