Sealord is a global seafood enterprise with a worldwide fishing, processing and marketing network.

We are the second largest seafood company in New Zealand in terms of catch, and one of the country’s Top 60 companies in terms of revenue.

Sealord employs more than 1100 people in New Zealand and has assets of NZ$675 million.

Our total catch is more than 117,000 tonnes (individual transferable quota) and our revenue NZ$530 million.

We import New Zealanders’ favourite canned seafood products including salmon from Canada and Alaska and tuna from Thailand.

New Zealand is a small country with a large fishery and around 90% of our product is exported to more than 60 countries.

By value, our main markets are Australia (22%), Europe (20%), New Zealand (16%) and Japan and Asia (17%)
