Contact Details

Sealord Caistor Ltd (SCL) is based in the small picturesque and historic market town of Caistor in Lincolnshire County and plays a significant supporting role in this small town which has a population of around 2,750 people.

SCL started trading from the Caistor site in 1996 and is now the second largest employer in the town. SCL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sealord Group Ltd (SGL). Keith Graham Ltd (KGL), which manufactures the smoked product, was also a subsidiary of SGL but was merged with SCL in 2009 and now trades under SCL.

The SCL operation processes high quality fresh and frozen fish and has a dedicated supplier relationship with the Waitrose retail chain that is a major retailing outlet within the UK with 241 stores nationwide.

The major source of fish to SCL is from Iceland with many other sources from around the world including SGL. The main species supplied are Cod, Haddock, Lemon Sole, Prawns, Seabass and Plaice.

SCL plays a very active role in supporting community projects in the town.

Among others, community support includes the sponsorship of the giant Christmas tree in the Caistor Market Square each year which attracts visitors from far and wide. By investing in the Caistor in Bloom group, SCL helps with the beautification of the town.

The efforts of this group were recognised when it won Lincolnshire’s Best Market Town award in both 2009 and 2010. Again with support from SCL, the town expects to make major progress in the prestigious East Midlands in the Bloom 2011 competition which is part of the overall Great Britain in Bloom scheme.

SCL is also a major sponsor of the UK Youth Chef of the Year Competition, which in 2011 was won by young chefs Danielle Heron and Chelsea Taylor from Manchester.
