Because they come in convenient resealable plastic containers they are ideal for taking to picnics, barbecues and other outdoor functions.

Description

Sealord’s New Zealand Greenshell™  mussels are unique to New Zealand’s coastal waters. Sealord’s™ Greenshell mussels are harvested from the pristine waters of New Zealand’s bays and inlets. Sealord’s mussels are processed directly after harvest using modern plant and technology. Mussels are grown, harvested, transported, processed and labelled in accordance with the USFDA National Shellfish Sanitation Programme (NSSP) and standards that meet EU requirements. They are harvested and processed under HACCP based risk management programmes.  These systems are verified by the NZFSA and USFDA. The product conforms to the microbiological standards of Sealord Group Ltd and USDFDA standards for biotoxin testing. The mussels are either cream (male) or orange (female) in colour, both have the same delicate flavour.

Serving Suggestions

Sealord Marinated Greenshell™ Mussels are delicious when served straight from the convenient resealable container, or you may choose to serve them as a complement to an antipasto platter or as a snack or entrée. Greenshell™ mussels (Perna canaliculus) are only grown in New Zealand.
