Tuna Tacos

These simple, vibrant tacos are a great family favourite, and kids can build their own.

Ingredients

  • 2x 185g

    Sealord Chunky Style Tuna in Spring Water

  • Tacos
  • 8

    small flour tortillas

  • Chipotle Sour Cream
  • 1 cup

    sour cream

  • 1/4 cup

    chipotle sauce

  • Salsa
  • 3

    tomatoes, red large and firm

  • 1/2

    red onion, diced finely

  • 1/2 cup

    coriander leaves

  • 1

    garlic clove

  • 1

    lime

  • 2 tbsp

    olive oil

  • 1

    small cos or iceburg lettuce, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. To make the Chipotle sour cream, simply add the shop bought chipotle sauce to the sour cream and mix to combine.
  2. To make your salsa, dice the tomato flesh, removing the seeds and pulp and place into a bowl. Add your chopped red onion, coriander, olive oil and lime juice & zest. Season and leave aside until ready to use.
  3. Place the flour tortillas onto a sheet of baking paper and warm in the oven for a couple of minutes.
  4. To serve place two tortillas on a plate, top with shredded lettuce, add a tablespoon of salsa, flakes of Tuna and drizzle with Chipotle sour cream.
